learing Procedure - DM Metricel Membrane
Method: Wet (but do not soak) the membrane in a solution of 20% diethyl formamide and 80% ethyl alcohol. Dry 10 to 20 minutes at 77 °C (171 °F). For easy clearing without fiber distortion, place the membrane on an appropriate-sized drop of solution previously applied to a glass slide. The side of the filter with the collected sample should be right-side up (away from the solvent) to prevent loss or disruption of the sample.
