Control of Prepacked Goods (CPG) system is based on computer software KTP NET designed for collection of weighing records from RADWAG scales connected into a network by RS232/RS485 sockets or Ethernet. A network of weighing instruments is connected with a server, which includes software for CPG system management – KTP-NET. A network can be composed from one or multiple types of scales. Each scale is an independent workstation, and data from the control process is constantly forwarded to computer software. In case of multi-stand control there is continuous dual sided exchange of data between a scale and a computer. All indications referring to a control process are visible on scale display. All reports from accomplished control processes are saved in software database with possibility of automatic printout.
The operator initiates control start, and acts independently on computer software. The software is an application for collection of data, and saving them in software databases. A control initiated from scale level is automatically finished if quantity of packages set in computer software are controlled. As the control is completed, it is possible to generate a final report which includes all data necessary for a report from Control of Prepacked Goods process.
The software also enables controlling goods only according to Regulation of 7th May 2009 on prepacked goods (JOL No. 91, item 740), on a few or multiple technological lines.
KTP-NET System utilizes databases supported by Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000), which is a failure free engine for data storage and processing, designed for extension of company application operating on workstations.
DATABASES supported by MSDE are installed together with KTP NET software, and they can only be utilized with software delivered by RADWAG company!
PGC system can be configured with application of below listed types of network
  - Network based on RS485 or RS232
  - Ethernet
  - Mixed network (RS485, Ethernet)
